The dreaded day finally came.  Buddy lost any hope he ever had of having lil Buddies.  When I went to pick him up he was his normal self….. a little hung over from the meds but still he ran and greeted me with his signature hip wiggle.  All the nurses were complementing him on how handsome he was.  “Hey there cutie” “We’ll see you handsome”….i was flattered but soon realized they were referring to him.  Then the cone was put on….. his curiosity soon turned to embarrassment.  As he froze in place not making a noise, i couldn’t help myself and was laugh so hard that I began to tear up.  From the front desk to the door Buddy ran into 4 different things and was soon trapped behind a pole because the cone restricted him from getting past because he had no peripheral vision to let him know he could just go around it.

If there was ever a time I wish i had my camera on it would have been just a second ago when Buddy tried to jump up on the couch but soon ran into the back of the couch with the cone and was thrown to the ground. He fearlessly went for it a second time and was denied again.  Just to show how persistent he is he tried it again, luckily this time i was there behind him to catch him and turn the cone to the side so he could get up…… more to come…..
