A little piece of heaven…….gone to hell………

with one comment

After standing strong for the past 80 years the “Mississippi Hilton” just couldn’t do it any more and when the last storm went through, down she went.  The green cabin (Mississippi Hilton) has been a part of the Anderson tradition for many generations.  Hunting, fishing, canoeing and snowmobiling trips have all started from there.  I learned to drive there and that’s is actually where the “Beastmaster” part of me was born.  We have video evidence of me at the age of 3 charging a ramp on my bike.  Without training wheels.  NBD.  That is also were the long haired teenage bro Beastmaster set his hair on fire in 11th grade.  Many a campfires have been burnt there and lots of venisen has been cooked up with tons butter.  None that shes gone just a concrete slab with a newly install retaining wall take  her place.  Well i guess there’s an old trailer down there too for when the ol’ goat and woman go down there kayaking on the weekends.   The green cabin may have fallen but its memory will continue to live on.
